What is Rounding?

Rounding a numerical value is replacing it with another value that is approximately equal but has a shorter, simpler, or more explicit representation. In Primaseller, it is applied to the final amount in orders and invoices.

  • Go to Settings from the left menu

  • Click on Advanced BU configuration.

Rounding Logic in Primaseller:

You can choose the decimal precision to which you want to allow quantity and prices to be entered:

Input Precision defines how many digits you can enter after the decimal while entering prices or quantity for an item. You can make your selection from the drop-down.

You can select the number of digits would you want to round an amount to while calculating order and invoice totals:

Rounding Precision defines what rounding will be used to find an invoice total for sales.

You can select the Rounding Policy.

  1. Mid up: If Precision is set to 0.01, 5.223 will be treated as 5.23

  2. Mid down: If Precision is set to 0.01, 5.223 will be treated as 5.22

  3. Mid up (0.5 included in up): If Precision is set to 0.01, 5.225 will be treated as 5.23 and 5.224 will be treated as 5.22
