Users can be given permissions using 'roles' in your organization. This module consists of:

  • Roles: These are collections of user access based on individual designations such as Warehouse Manager, Store Executive, etc.

  • Permissions: Gives the role the authority or access to execute an operation on a particular object. Example: View Inventory, Modify Orders, etc. Each permission can be limited to a 'scope'.

  • Scope: A scope defines the boundary condition of the permission granted. Example: You can grant a role labeled 'Warehouse Manager' which has a permission labeled 'Modify Inventory'. However, you can limit the scope of this permission within this role to a limited set of facilities (for example, to specific warehouses and/or stores).

    Scopes are restricted to:
    - Business Units (BU): all facilities and channels
    - Facilities: within a BU
    - Channels: within a BU
    - Register: for a given POS channel

Owners and Admins

'Owner' is the user who created the account. An owner can add 'Admins' who have access to specific Business Units.

Admins have access to all data in an account but cannot make themselves the owner
